ES 156: Signals and Communications
Institution: Harvard University
Date: Spring 2019
Prof. Flavio Calmon
ES 156 focused on an introduction to the math describing signals and the systems that transmit them.
We started with an introduction to convolution, then went through a detailed study of the Fourier Transform and the accompanying DFT and DTFT. The last 2 weeks of the class covered basic modulation schemes, including AM and QAM

I also tried out a part of the optional final project, which introduced and examined encoding schemes and how they help with error rates in transmission.
